Georganne Bickle is a Native Phoenician and a veteran of the AZ Air National Guard, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Navy. Her heritage includes Italian, German, and Choctaw, with current membership in the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. She graduated from Phoenix College with an Associate of Arts Degree in 2008 and graduated from Regent University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2012.
She self-published her first book, “Dear Men: A True Story,” in 2008, revised in 2014 to “Dear Men: What I really wanted to say...”. The 2nd book “A Good Brain Washing, book & workbook” was published in 2012 and revised into a second edition in 2023. The 3rd book "Affirmations: For Every Area of Life (the workbook portion of A Good Brain Washing) was published in 2013. The 4th book “A Guide to Life Challenges” was published in 2017.
Her background includes over twenty-eight years of working as a peer support, sponsor, and mentor to women and men in recovery, veterans and those suffering from mental illnesses. She has current sobriety of over thirty years.
She is currently a graduate student at the University of Phoenix in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program and working as an Intern at a treatment center for dual diagnosis.
She teaches online classes focused on her book ‘A Good Brain Washing, book & workbook’ several times a year. Through the use of her own application of this program, she successfully manages recovery from alcoholism and PTSD.
